Finance Director
The role:
We are looking for an experienced Finance Director to oversee all financial aspects of the business and drive the company’s financial strategy and planning. This person will be responsible for assessing the financial performance of the company as well as possible risks and investment opportunities. This person will be an established professional with broad knowledge to all accounting, financial and business principles, with prior iGaming experience preferred. This individual needs to be a strategic thinker and be an effective leader who can make sound decisions. They will guide the company towards profitability and long-term success.
Experience needed:
  • Proven experience as Director of Finance or similar role.
  • iGaming or Fintech experience is a must.
  • Experience in leading a team towards success.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, taxation, local laws and best practices.
  • Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office, Accounting software (SAGE) and financial management software (e.g. SAP) considered a plus.
  • A Qualified Accountant.
  • Have start up experience or experience in a fast paced constantly evolving working environment.

Sports Trading Assistant
The role:
We are looking for a Sports Trading Assistant to join our team to help us build the next generation of iGaming products. You must be analytical, organised, and have a keen eye for detail. A passion for sports and a strong background in Mathematics, or similar field, is essential. You will be energetic and enthusiastic, with an ability to work in a high-paced, multi-faceted environment. The ideal candidate will be extremely reliable and driven by a desire for personal growth. We’re a small but growing team, and you’ll need to be self-motivated, trustworthy and able to manage your own delivery to hit key milestones.
Experience needed:
  • You have a passion for sports and have strong technical skills;.
  • You are motivated by challenges and working in fast-paced environments.
  • You are self-motivated but with a proven track record of working well in diverse teams.
  • Well organised and strong ability to multi-task.
  • A sports and betting enthusiast with strong technical skills. A strong knowledge of Cricket would be preferable.
  • Experienced working with a range of information systems.
  • Flexibility to work weekend hours and evenings.
  • Experience working in the iGaming industry would be ideal but not required

Management Accountant
The role:
We are looking for an experienced management accountant to join the company and make a significant contribution to the finance team. FIM is an exciting new start-up iGaming business, and the role will offer challenges with a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow professionally.
Experience needed:
  • Proven experience as management accountant or another similar role;
  • Part or fully qualified accountant;
  • VAT experience in Malta required with UK and Ireland experience a plus;
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel;
  • Experience with accounting software with Sage being an added benefit;
  • An analytical and inquisitive mind;
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills;
  • Self-motivated with the ability to remain calm under stress in a start-up environment.

Experience needed:
  • Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive;
  • Good team player who leads with motivation whilst maintaining a satisfactorily level of accuracy and quality in fast-paced environment;
  • Proactive, emotionally intelligent individual with great people skills;
  • A deep understanding of Maltese Employment Law;
  • Pro-active person with a can-do and decisive approach;
  • Confident, motivated and self-sufficient;
  • Good time management skills and the ability to work independently;
  • Flexible and comfortable with a broad variety of duties and responsibilities;
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases;
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company;
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field.
